World War 2 Presentations
World War 2 is such a large topic that there's no way we would be able to cover all the information in two weeks. Instead, we broke off into groups and tackled individual topics of the war that interested us. Then, we created 5-10 minute presentations that we could give to the rest of our class to educate each other on many topics. In addition, we needed to write an essay that goes over all the information shared during your presentation, and create an artifact that related to your presentation. My group decided to made models of the Little Man and Fat Boy atomic bombs that we're dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
My two partners and I decided to focus on the topic of the Manhattan project. This was an extremely important government issued group of scientists from around the world to develop atomic bombs. These eventually led to the end of the war.

The Manhattan Project
My partners and I focused on the background of Julius Robert Oppenheimer, the need for the atomic bomb, bomb design, what's happening inside the bomb, secrecy and censorship, the dropping of the bombs, after effects and health issues, and how the manhattan project ended the war. Below you can find our Prezi presentation, research, and the essay written that's paired with our presentation.
